Dr. Perez has extensive training in forensic psychology. In addition to forensic evaluations, Dr. Perez conducts psychological evaluations for youth and adults who are in need of diagnostic clarification and relevant treatment recommendations. She specializes in the assessment of mental health disorders such as autism spectrum disorder, intellectual disability, bipolar disorder, anxiety disorders, mood disorders, behavioral disorders, attention deficit/hyperactivity disorder, and post-traumatic stress disorder. She also provides developmental disability evaluations for individuals who are seeking disability services or recommendations for related treatment, community services, and guardianship.

Dr. Perez also provides individual psychotherapy for adults. She utilizes cognitive-behavioral, insight-oriented, and supportive techniques for problems such as depression, generalized anxiety, social anxiety, bipolar disorder, anger-management, and adjustment and stress-related disorders.
